About
We have a vacancy in our Compliance Asset Management team that we are now looking to fill. Are you a lawyer or an economist who is familiar with financial markets regulation? Do you know how to not only monitor, but more importantly advise on how to deal with regulation? Do you know your way around the financial markets and investments and want to be the person who is a partner to our business, but also knows when to put on the handbrake? Then we are looking for you!
Your responsibilities
- Advising business units on the following areas of regulation: investor protection, collective investment, pension savings, market abuse, money laundering - so diversity of work is the least of your problems
- But we're not just about advising, you'll also be educating our staff - including senior management
- An essential part of the job is monitoring and analyzing individual compliance risks and suggesting steps to prevent them
- Working together to monitor compliance with legal requirements, internal regulations and KBC Group standards - yes, our mother is in Belgium, so we can offer an international environment
- Communication and cooperation with other KBC AM Group companies
You should have the following skills and experience
- The terms MiFID II, MiFIR, MAR, PRIIPs should tell you something
- Experience - we don't care if it's from a bank, another financial institution, a supervisory authority or any other capital market institution - just experience
- Good communication skills - both in Czech and in English - you will communicate with the management both here and in Belgium
- Independence- you must be able to work alone, but at the same time be a team player - we pride ourselves on this
- And then the classics - analytical thinking, creativity, positive attitude to IT, flexibility and readiness for change
- Willingness to work with colleagues from all KBC Group countries
