About the position

Join us as an Innovation Architect and help shape the future of ČSOB. In our Innovation Acceleration team, you’ll turn emerging trends and guidance into bold, client‑centric innovation visions that influence decision‑making for the whole of ČSOB group.

You’ll work side‑by‑side with innovation managers across domains like AI, Digital Assets, Customer Experience and Employee Experience transforming strategic ideas into tangible projects that drive real impact. If you’re excited by connecting dots, crafting powerful storylines and bringing clarity to complex topics, this is the role where your ideas will truly shine.

What you will be doing

Write the Innovation Storyline

• Translate ČSOB’s strategy, KBC Group guidance, market trends and data into a client‑centric innovation vision for your specific domain
• Create vision documents containing end‑to‑end value propositions, including the Go‑to‑Market approach
• Shape both long‑term (e.g. 3‑year) and short-term (e.g. 6) month visions aligned with the Innovation way of working

Challenge and keep an eye on targets

• Collaborate on and challenge the detailed Innovation roadmaps of the specific departments
• Be accountable for the performance of your specific domain (e.g. customer satisfaction targets)
• Develop action plans when adjustments are needed, in collaboration with the right departments

Build bridges, connect and inspire

• Connect the right innovation managers among eachother as well as other relevant departments
• Manage your stakeholders on the strategic visions you write, including discussions on the high‑level budget allocation
• Inspire colleagues across ČSOB through internal and external communication, storytelling and sharing successes
• Present your strategic visions at key decision‑making forums, including c-level forums
  
  

What we expect from you

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
• Ability to maintain a helicopter view while translating strategy into concrete follow‑up actions
• Excellent storytelling and writing skills; ability to produce clear, structured documents
• Creativity and an innovative mindset - you enjoy shaping future‑focused visions
• Strong relationship‑building and collaboration skills; you act as a bridge between teams
• Ability to turn ideas into actionable proposals and align them with stakeholders and management
• Proactiveness, entrepreneurial spirit, and curiosity about trends both inside and outside ČSOB
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills - able to clearly present and acticulate your own vision to a room of managers
• Excellent knowledge of English, preferably also Czech
• Bonus if you have experience in Strategy, Innovation Management or Bank-insurance product knowledge
