The Senior Risk Officer is responsible for monitoring the bank’s overall risk position and presenting it to the statutory bodies of the bank to ensure compliance with the approved risk appetite.
The role also includes the management of established outsourcing relationships. In the event of a breach of outsourcing agreements or deviation from the bank’s risk profile, the officer reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Collaborate with the relevant Board Member to establish the Risk Management System for ČSOBS (Building Savings Bank) and HB (Mortgage Bank)
Take responsibility for assessing the bank’s overall risk profile (e.g., Interest Rate Risk, Internal Control System)
Ensure compliance with ad hoc risk management requirements (e.g., external audits, Czech National Bank) through effective outsourcing relationships
Prepare strategic risk management documentation (e.g., Risk Appetite Statement)
Manage assigned outsourcing relationships
