What team are you joining?
We are Global Solution Center responsible for third level support, implementation and migration of global and cloud services to KBC Group‘s banks and insurance companies across Europe and small offices in US and Asia. We support more than 52 thousands users in KBC Group.
Our Global Solution Center team (short as GSC) is located in Belgium and in four main locations in Czech Republic – Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Pardubice. Our team consists of experts on various on-premise and cloud domains represented by global roles such as Service/Solution Architects, Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, Identity Management Specialists, Security Engineers and also dedicated Microsoft in field Engineers. So as you can see there are many opportunities for you to grow in knowledge and expertise. All of that supported by competitive training scheme. We are seeking for a person who would join us and help us to design on-premise and cloud services in the financial sector. The architect is responsible for designing of authentication, authorization and M365 cloud services, proposing design improvements, closely collaborating with other senior roles in our SAFe Agile base organization, communicating with subject matter experts internally (colleagues and business partners) and externally (Microsoft) and participating in global architectural advisory boards.

What are the responsibilities?
- Propose and review architecture related topics within the team and with local peers in the organization
- Cooperate on improvements of existing cloud solutions
- Help to solve major incidents and escalated problems
- Help to mitigate architectural risks
- Attend global agile ceremonies, operational meetings and advisory boards
- Participate in Global Architecture Communities
- Improve personal knowledge related to Microsoft authentication and authorization services and pass relevant certifications
- Travel on occasional business trips (once a quarter)

What do we require?
- 3+ years of experience with on-premise infrastructure and Microsoft cloud architecture
- JIRA, ITIL or SAFe knowledge is an advantage
- Agile mindset, be a servant to the team
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies
- Communication skills and stress tolerant
- Being flexible, ability to travel
