Department and position description
Our department is responsible for supporting the Liferay portal platform and modern Java/Javascript technology stack used to deliver end-user web applications such as public websites (www.csob.cz) and electronic banking.
We are looking for someone who is willing to focus primarily on the HTML, SCSS and React part of our technology stack.
What will you do?
- Detailed insight into various frontend development phases
- Prototyping and component identification
- Development and maintenance of our own component framework in multiple technologies
- Correct semantic construction of HTML
- Styling extensive applications using SCSS, responsiveness, collision resolution, and long-term maintenance
- Accessibility of components and entire applications, utilizing assistive technologies
- Work with the team members to support our technology stack and help application developers from other departments to use it appropriately
What is expected of you?
- General knowledge of web development and its principles
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design rules and semantics
- At least a basic understanding of JavaScript
- Some experience with framework-based development, e.g., Bootstrap, React or willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other colleagues
- Adhering the best practice rules adopted by the team, such as following coding guidelines, participating in code reviews, etc.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Strong team spirit and communication skills
