DWH Informatica EDC
KBC Rainbow BI Competence Center (BICC) is looking for a new colleague for BICC Rainbow project preparing DWH-based solution for Company Management of all KBC Group in 6 countries.
Within the Rainbow program we are looking for a technical profile to help in the development of our metadata lineage tool (Informatica EDC).
The Rainbow Datawarehouse exists from different layers (data entry till data usage covers several layers) and for several reasons we need to have a clear view on how the data flows through the datawarehouse. A lineage tool helps with this by showing how a column in a file from a source system is propagated to the higher layers of the DWH.
JOB Description
- Operational follow-up of the EDC flows
- Monitor regular EDC tasks and investigate possible issues
- Execute EDC tasks from orchestration tool
- Solve operation issues (both on our side as via collaboration with other teams)
- Analyze output of Informatica EDC (why is some lineage not completely correct)
- Help with new developments
- Translate business requirements/high level design to a technical design
- Implementation of technical changes (orchestration via UAC/LCD, Perl scripts)
- Testing
- Documentation
