Data Specialist I
KBC Rainbow BI Competence Center (BICC) is looking for a new colleague for BICC Rainbow Services Data Specialist position within the large Rainbow project preparing DWH-based solution for Company Management of all KBC Group in 6 countries. As the Specialist for the particular service in the Rainbow BICC team, you would work on implementation of an unique technical solution, its development, operation, administration, and support group-wide.

Your responsibilities in assigned area (e.g. DWH Operations, Incident Management, Service Desk, management of reporting tool - QlikSense or OneSumX by Wolters Kluwer) will include:
- tuning and support of particular component implemented in Rainbow
- manage a single point of contact for relevant reporting suite stakeholders (customers, vendor, platform team, KBC procurement);
- closely follow-up incidents and problems in KBC internal ticketing system (Snow / JIRA) being responsible for the implementation of observed issues within dedicated area;
- create tickets in towards the vendor in case of bugs/problems in software;
- participate in account-meetings with the vendor and follow-up relevant release calendar;
- regular information flow to key stakeholder regarding important software related topics;
- control / arrange permission for users reflecting designed roles;
- prepare and evaluate proposals for changes and further improvement of the assigned area;
- give relevant guidance to various Rainbow teams from the system improvement perspective;
- active work on system performance improvements

What do we expect from you:
- to be fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- at least basic knowledge and experience in data management and datawarehousing areas (specific technology training may be provided);
- at least basic knowledge of SQL;
- to work in close collaboration with other teams within the Rainbow program - therefore a constructive, forward looking, team spirit attitude is absolutely necessary;
- analytical skills, stress resistancy, flexibility and ability to work independently;
- Czech/Slovak language knowledge would be a benefit;
