The successful candidate will be working within the SSC Finance Domain in the team Group Finance Support. 
Group Finance support provides transfer pricing, reporting, controlling and other support services to the different departments of our organisation.
We are looking for the new colleague who will participate on all of the mentioned activities with a focus on the IT costs.
 
As a financial analyst you will work with a huge amount of the financial data and you'll build up an expertise in several domains (transfer pricing, costs follow-up, controlling etc.) necessary for high-quality managerial reporting. This function contains various aspects: controls of delivered information, thorough analysis, reporting, integration of reorganizations, building a strong relationship with counterparties in various departments and teams, answering their questions, etc. So this is a challenge where you directly contribute to the financial insights and correctness of the cost allocation within the entire organisation.
 
 
In your role as Financial Analyst you are responsible for:

 

  • application of the Transfer Pricing policies of KBC group
  • allocation of costs on monthly basis following Cost+ methodology and applying Transfer Pricing policies/regulations
  • monitoring and reporting on variances between budgets and actuals
  • preparation of overviews, reports, analysis on ad hoc basis
  • communication with management and stakeholders (e.g. internal customers)
  • other operational tasks within scope of financial controlling and Transfer Pricing

 
What we would like to see in you:

 

  • university degree ideally in finance or economics
  • experience in field of finance (preferably in external audit or controlling) is an advantage, but not necessary
  • fluent English language (written and oral)
  • strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • good communication skills
  • ability to handle stress
  • ability to work both, independently and in the team
  • advanced user of MS excel (logical functions, pivot tables, power queries, etc...) and possibly other BI applications is a big advantage, basic knowledge of MS excel is crucial
  • knowledge of SAP is an advantage
