You will work in our Groupwide Information Security Office, playing a key role in the interaction between experts and (top) managers of all KBC entities.  

You will get acquainted with security architecture, tools, people and with the challenges our companies face. You will help to organize and manage the most important security governance body of KBC Group.  This way, you will gain unique knowledge and build an extensive network.  This step will drive your career to a new level and pave the way for a great future within KBC.

The team you will be joining is the Group Information Security Office. This small team is responsible to

• provide a groupwide vision and strategy on information security;
• organize alignment on the information security strategy and translation thereof into a futureproof information security architecture;
• coordinate and support the working of the Global IT Committee.

• You will come into contact with technical subjects but your main focus will be on the organization of committees and communities, enabling management to take well-founded decisions and making sure commitments are respected.
• You will help to bring structure in follow up and reporting.
• A mentor within the team will assist and guide you.  
• You will learn about the challenges within the financial sector through daily contact with senior managers and gain inspiration from them.
• You can count on many opportunities to network within KBC. 
• You will gain unique knowledge on cyber security and KBC’s security architecture.

Your strengths?

• We are looking for someone who can make an impact. We think such a person will recognize themselves in the points below. But feel free to talk to us if you can't tick off everything.
• You have relevant experience or a university degree. It is especially important that you are open to learn and grow.
• Relevant professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are appreciated as they would speed up your learning.
• You communicate clearly and convincingly in English, both orally and in writing, to all levels of seniority in a professional context.
• You recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
• Working with others feels natural for you.
• You have the ambition to learn and grow in the area of information security or eventually take on a management position later on in your career. You start in our Group Information Security Office, but if you are interested in moving to another area within KBC in the long term, that is possible.
• You like to take initiative and you know how to organize your own work efficiently. Planning and coordinating tasks? No problem for you.
• You feel at home in an international environment that is constantly changing.
