Operation Manager

Hi, I’m Petra and I’m looking for a new colleague for DWH Operation Manager position within the large Rainbow project preparing DWH-based solution for Company Management of all KBC Group. Within the BI Competence Center, you would work on the regular daily run of pretty complex system processing data from hundreds of sources from 6 countries.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • daily run of the entity’s Rainbow tenant(s);
  • manage the supervision of daily tenant’s run including out-of business-hours shifts when necessary;
  • manage the BICC knowledge base to optimise efficient solution of non-standard situations;
  • as a tenant supervisor on duty, you will take operative decisions during shifts as needed to complete every day’s data processing from source systems up to integrated DWH layer;
  • cooperation with specialised teams and utilises all services provided;
  • active participation at the take-over of new/changed Rainbow components into production;
  • responsibility for data delivery to the Group DWH tenant;
  • responsibility for daily DWH run reporting / dashboards;
  • act as production (or acceptance) environment owner;
  • manage the assigned part of system monitoring and housekeeping;
  • propose improvements and optimisation of Rainbow components and processes;  
  • participate at local Rainbow related decisions in order to keep the tenant operability.

 

What do I expect from you:

 

  • general information systems knowledge (DWH knowledge would be an advantage);
  • data oriented approach;
  • analytical skills, fast decision making;
  • operation / services mentality;
  • knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data modelling, operation modelling;
  • organisation ability, small team leading skills;
  • English language knowledge.
