Operational Risk Coordinator

We offer you the role of Risk manager within the Group Risk - CZ Hub, supporting Group Risk, Enterprise Risk Management. Your role would be to:


  • Support the updates of the group-wide operational risk management framework with attention to outsourcing aspects
  • Use your creativity in in-depth studies, detecting risk signals and supporting local or group wide risk assessments in the operational risk management domain with focus on outsourcing files
  • Analyze the risk management data and support the risk management reporting in the area of outsourcing
  • Lead and participate in the deep dives / consistency & data quality reviews of the risk management data e.g. related to outsourcing
  • Provide trainings to local risk teams and local operational risk officers with respect to how the operational risk management framework and building blocks need to be executed
  • In cooperation with the business and the local risk team assess the effectiveness of our risk management approach in KBC processes or tooling. Where needed, you propose appropriate, effective and simple extensions or improvements
  • Be a team member of Group Risk – CZ Hub located in Prague/Brno closely cooperating with the Group OpR team spread over all KBC core countries


Furthermore, you will:


  • Collaborate intensively with colleagues from many different functions and countries (Group/Local risk teams in all core countries, Sustainability, etc.) and broaden your horizons towards the entire KBC group (banking and insurance)
  • Use your communication skills to explain complex risk events and topics understandably and to the point towards a varied audience, including top management and KBC’s supervisors
  • Sharpen your strategic insights by being involved in key projects and discussions
