Product Manager International Payments

Role of product manager is very much self-driven role, you are responsible for many things, but you are steering yourself. You try to follow new trends and new developments in the Payments area. You are working in the team of other Product developers, mainly located in Belgium. The knowledge of International payments is an advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Formulation of the strategic vision in the area of international payments
  • Translating the vision into concrete roadmap including proper prioritization
  • To cooperate with other product owners and technical departments to co-create a roadmap and drive products from the concept to launch
  • Defining properly the business requirements for the right delivery of the product roadmap
  • Active engagement with the internal and external stakeholders including various decision bodies and workgroups
  • To build strong network in internal department but as well the externally
  • Continuously looking for improvement proposals for KBC and the customer
  • Follow up key figures, KPI's of the product
  • Perform or monitor BAU product management tasks and related risk tasks
  • Can acts as a outsourcing coordinator
  • Drafting and maintaining various documents: Specific Agreement, Business Continuity Plans, Annual review of the cooperation, etc.
  • Other annual recurring & ad hoc assignments: Participate in the preparation of allocation keys for cost allocation, Volume forecasting, etc.


Expectations:

 

  • Experience in international payments
  • Experience in similar roles as (project manager, team leader, product owner, business development manager, field expert)
  • Experienced with MS Office package especially Excel
  • Self starter who can quickly learn new and complex material;
  • Interested in becoming an expert in the field;
  • Dares to take decisions and challenge the decisions of others;
  • Able to set clear priorities for yourself and for others
  • Have the necessary skills to communicate at different levels and convey the message in straightforward and clear way;
  • Fluent in English (at least C1 level)
  • Naturally seeks to collaborate across teams
  • Team player


Few words about your future domain:

 

What we do in GPS is making sure that every single international/crossborder/SEPA transaction reaches its beneficiary. International payment systems can be complex and approximately 3% of transactions need manual intervention. Every single customer/bank complaint/request is handled and resolved to the satisfaction of customers. We work mainly for KBC Belgium, partially for CSOB CZ and other smaller foreign entities of KBC.
