Your focus?

• Document and build permanently personal knowledge of software solutions and methodologies/frameworks for software design and development via longlife learning. Contribute actively to the learning organization via communities of practice, mentoring, sharing sessions, ….
• Follow market evolutions within the assigned applications, solutions and software frameworks (including their interfaces) and advice in function of new developments.
• Maintain, monitor and manage systems and applications with extra attention for performance, quality and security.
• Realize various and multiple software engineering activities, business requirements, functional design, technical design, development, application integration, package configuration, testing, deployment and other software related development activities.

What do we expect from you?

• In your role as a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• translating end user needs into technical implementations.
• Working out and documenting the functional & technical Design in collaboration FE/MT experts in the team.
• Setup new solutions in a vendor application, integrating it into an E2E Legacy solution, reviewing coding and possibly also (limited) programming yourself.
• Testing modified/new applications in collaboration with the application administrators.
• Applying the guidelines regarding the release process and assurance strategy and DEV OPS.
• Paying attention to performance and CPU consumption when working out the design.
• Belief in the SAFe way of working: incrementally deliver small parts in 2-week sprints, show them to our Business, capture feedback and make adjustments.
• Collaborate with all different roles (Business and ICT) within the team and within the ART (Agile Release Train).
