At KBC Group Reporting Services we are organised according to the Scaled Agile Framework. Our teams are a mix of business and IT colleagues working from multiple locations. In this role,  you reinforce the IFRS 9 central engine team which is part of the agile release train Credit Risk.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for a group-wide central tool with local components which is used to calculate the impairments according to the International Financial Reporting Standard 9 (IFRS 9), reporting and disclosures.

You will be managing software applications that deliver business values to internal  stakeholders in KBC group entities, finance and credit risk departments. Expect an exciting role in an interesting, international environment.

• You handle all  operational and  maintenance related functional activities – ensuring proper functioning of the application – as well as requests for change.
• You are an important bridge between the local business application managers, functional analysts and the technical experts.
• You analyse business requirements, functional requirements and documentations.
• You support IT development by translating complex business requirements into clear functional requirements.
• Together with your colleagues, you make sure requested changes are implemented. You take up end-to-end ownership of the changes; from determining the business requirements to planning, tests and training.
• Users of the application can rely on you for support.
• You are in contact with the third party vendor  to discuss requirements and planning. In case of issues, you work together with them and the business partners to work out a solution.
• You propose improvements for existing processes.

• You have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in IT and 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Analysing is one of your main strengths. You work accurately and efficiently.
• You enjoy working together with others in a constructive manner, reaching goals as a team.
• When the situation calls for it, you are flexible.
• You communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• It’s certainly welcome if you have experience with/in:
  • SQL
  • SAS or Python
  • JIRA
  • application management, credit management or reporting.
