Together with your colleagues in the team of Data & Consumer Protection & AI of Group Compliance, you will help KBC lead the way when it comes to data protection, in close cooperation with our internal business partners.

  • You will monitor relevant legislation and new developments regarding the processing of personal data, privacy laws and the AI Act.
  • You will advise on implementation within KBC and monitor compliance across KBC’s activities.
  • You will advise on new products and activities from a data protection and AI perspective, including advising on the implementation of Data Protection Impact Assessments, Balancing Test, Transfer Impact Assessments, etc.
  • You will support commercial line management in improving employee awareness and assist in the development of training programmes on data protection and AI.
  • You will develop internal policies and revise them where necessary.
  • You will help designing compliance processes and business processes when it comes to including compliance aspects. 
  • You will manage small to medium-sized projects from the coordination of different tasks and people to the presentation of different results.

  • You have good knowledge of privacy regulations and have three to five years of practical experience in data and privacy protection. Experience in a customer-oriented/client-facing environment or domain, more specifically within the field of Compliance Data Protection, is an asset.
  • You have at least basic knowledge of the AI act.
  • You have a master's degree in a field such as law, economics or IT.
  • You are highly driven and fully committed.
  • You have experience in managing projects from start to end.
  • You have strong critical thinking and analytical skills, you can think outside the box and you take a solution-oriented approach.
  • You can communicate clearly in English, and either French or Dutch.
  • You can be assertive when necessary and can persuade others in a diplomatic manner.
  • You can unite and lead people to achieve a common goal.
  • You think of solutions in terms of processes.

You work from the home base of KBC Group Compliance, BRUHAV2, i.e. Havenlaan 2, 1080 Brussels, with some possibility of working from home. We offer flexibility in workplace and working hours.
