These are loans for substantial amounts which are granted to companies by several national or international banks acting together. They are used among other things to finance general corporate operations and for specific strategic projects such as the completion of an acquisition or large-scale investments.
Increasingly, sustainability requirements are linked to this form of financing - in conjunction with the company's sustainability strategy - or the financing is set up specifically for well-defined ‘green’ investment projects.
