About our project
Our project called Rainbow has more than 35 teams which focus on building a completely new system for regulatory reporting of the whole KBC Group and its entities in 6 EU countries. Technologically speaking, the project solution is based on multi-tenant warehouse development. On each entity level, there is a separate instance with the same data model (“single version of truth”). Above all entities, the Group Tenant Warehouse consolidates data from all source systems of KBC banks and insurances.
Your role in our team
- As the Functional Analyst within ESG team your main responsibilities will include:
- Analysis and completion of business requirements
- Participate on the particular part of BI solution development and delivery, especially in data definitions, data transformations, and data mapping areas leading the testing
- Work on documentation and hand-over of the solution delivered
- Deliver reports using standardised measurement and reporting tools
- Prepare and evaluate proposals for changes in the respective area

What do we expect from you:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as an analyst in the banking industry
- SQL knowledge with ability to navigate in an extended and complex data model
- Proficiency in regulatory reporting and handling banking data
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in the ESG topic
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with finance-related concepts such as FINREP, GCRD, COREP,…
- Background in sustainability, working in ESG data in a corporate or investment setting
