As Application manager for Securities Services, you will be the one with the most knowledge of functions, structure and logic of our applications and systems, so analytical thinking is definitely an invaluable asset. Your agenda includes business analysis of requirements, mapping of the current state, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, testing and so on. But don't worry, we won't throw you in the water and we'll teach you everything you need to know.

 

KBC Securities Services is the entity of KBC Bank that covers the processing of a wide range of securities (shares, funds, options, etc). We bring together business and ICT colleagues on a daily basis working on projects. We are hierarchically organized in 8 teams, but we act as one network organization and virtually as one (big) team, working fully in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).Our teams are spread over 4 countries, including Belgium, Czech Republic and ICT colleagues from the Bulgaria and India. Obviously working from distance is a very common practice in our teams, also working from home is done frequently.

 

What to expect:

  • Communication with business as internal client to specify requirements for application development
  • Acts as a link between the business - operational teams and developers
  • Ensure that the design of applications implements business and regulatory requirements
  • Complete quality check of the product and implement high standards
  • Close cooperation on testing software solutions with the developer
  • Documenting process flows to maintain the knowledge level

  • You are ready to explain the limitations and other options suggested by business and developers
