Within our agile release train, we are looking for a new colleague to help build the CRM applications for commercial employees.

Customers are increasingly requesting products and services from home, by telephone or via chat. We want to manage and follow up these contacts optimally. Our biggest challenge here is in combining optimal E2E customer experience with internal efficiency and commerciality. From our agile release train, we ensure that these processes are stable and of high quality. In this way, we support our colleagues in the network so that they can maximize their commercial operations towards our customers.

About us
We are organized according to the SAFe methodology. SAFe enables agile delivery of technology-based solutions by installing a new organizational setup (mixed teams IT/business), a new way of working (short iterations that focus on value creation) and a renewed mindset, based on agility & continuous improvement. The team works from different locations such as the Czech Republic, Portugal and Belgium; so digital collaboration is key in your operation.

What do we expect from you?

  • You ensure that the applications run well on a daily basis (monitoring, data quality, analyzing and resolving incidents, etc.)
  • As an application manager, you enable outlined processes. You test process steps and work them out. In doing so, you do not lose sight of the connection with other systems. You monitor the operation of your systems on a daily basis.
  • Moreover, you are responsible for the test phase: drawing up test requirements, reviewing testware and checking it for correctness and completeness, keeping testware up to date after new deliveries, following up test progress, screening defects for correctness and priority and supporting the testers.
  • You take an active role in innovation and continuous improvement: together with the process manager you look for opportunities for process improvements or you contribute to the analysis of new ICT developments from a business perspective.
  • You can detect, propose and work out improvements to the work organization.
  • You fulfill a bridging function between end user, process management and ICT.
  • You are also responsible for training on new deliveries after a release so that they can provide the right help to users in the first line.
  • You communicate and support the users of the application by writing manuals and keeping users informed of changes

Your assets?
Our very dynamic context with constantly changing requirements requires equally dynamic profiles. Therefore, we expect all employees to:

  • demonstrate great flexibility and constantly brush up on their knowledge
  • have experience with SQL and testing
  • be able to communicate with our IT colleagues on the one hand, and with the commercial network employees on the other. Eager cooperation with others and strong communication skills are therefore very important
  • think in solutions and continuously include the customer in their thoughts and actions
  • be able to work independently and take responsibility
  • dare to take decisions and challenge

As an application manager, you also have an analytical mind and can bring complex matters to a simple conclusion. At the same time, you work accurately and meticulously.

We are looking for someone who is already familiar with application management and/or project work. Moreover, it is important to know or get to know as quickly as possible the operation of our distribution channels (KBC Live, branches, agents, contact centers, KBC-Touch, KBC-Mobile,...).
