We’re looking for experienced BackEnd Developer to join KBC Global Services. We’re the engine behind KBC Group — a leading bank-insurance group serving over 12 million clients across Europe, based in Brno, Czechia. 

You’ll join our team that designs, develops and maintains third-party service integrations in KBC products such as the KBC Mobile Banking app.

What to expect: 

• To be an essential part of our international team of over 40 people, mostly based in Belgium.  
• To collaborate in an agile environment, applying SAFe methodology. 
• To shape our long-term project, developing an Ecosphere system for our clients. Implementing 3rd party services into KBC products.
• To write high-quality code — using design patterns, testing frameworks, conducting unit and integration testing. 

You’ll work with this technology stack: Java, Spring, Maven, Git, PostgreSQL, Docker, RESTful, JSON, Dynatrace, Kibana, OpenShift, AWS, Jenkins

Your skills & experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience (in business preferably)
• Excellent English skills 
• Strong communication skills (within the team, business meetings) 
• Solid experience with back-end development: Java, Spring, Spring Boot 
• Additional experience: some knowledge of AWS and/or OpenShift,  DevOps and CI/CD build pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins) 
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Domain Driven Design
