Who are we?
KBC Global Services supports a wide range of business and administrative processes, including Financial Markets, Insurance, Securities, Payments, and Procurement, across multiple members of the KBC Group worldwide. What does the Reconciliation Team do?
Our team ensures external account balances (held with custodians globally) are accurately reflected in our internal systems. Additionally, we act as the first line of account management for all custody and settlement accounts of KBC Securities.

 
What kind of person are we looking for?
We’re seeking a proactive team member who is:

• Naturally curious and eager to continuously learn about account reconciliation and securities services.
• Skilled in analyzing cases and resolving issues by learning from day-to-day situations.
• A clear and active communicator, able to collaborate with other teams to find solutions and share insights.

Key responsibilities as a Reconciliation Officer:

• Oversee the processing of cash and securities movements.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding items.
• Report discrepancies and follow escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve potential errors.
• Customize and improve reconciliation processes.
• Prepare and deliver accurate reports.

 
What we expect from you:

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and good knowledge of written and verbal English.
• A university degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if you have relevant skills and experience.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A sense of accountability, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive data.
