Become part of the Automated Business Solutions team and contribute to the development and maintenance of data processing solutions and automations that support business processes across the organization.
As an Application Manager, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and the development team, serving as the right hand of the Product Owner. You will participate in requirements-gathering sessions, capture and document business needs, and translate them into actionable tasks for the delivery team working with technologies such as Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate), Python (Django), Qlik Sense, SAS, and others.
You will help ensure that business expectations are clearly understood and effectively communicated, enabling the team to deliver solutions that are aligned with stakeholder goals. This position requires strong communication skills, a good understanding of both technical and business contexts, and the ability to bridge gaps between different roles.
Your Future Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions while adhering to KBC standards and policies.
- Prepare and maintain business requirements documentation.
- Maintain process documentation and scope definitions.
- Manage incidents, coordinate resolution activities, and oversee follow-up actions.
- Provide active support to the Product Owner in defining and refining business requests.
- Manage user access rights and permissions.
- Prepare test scenarios and test documentation, including functional testing.
- Work in accordance with Agile principles and ways of working.
- Assess transfer project requirements and evaluate their compatibility with the team's operational environment and capabilities.
Your Key Skills and Experience
- Experience creating, maintaining, and updating documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Proactive, self-driven team player with a strong sense of ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
- Ability to remain resilient and effective in a dynamic environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the finance, banking, or insurance industry.
- Previous experience in a technical role.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a similar position.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies:
- Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate)
- Django or other Python web frameworks
- Qlik Sense
- SAS
- SQL Server
- VBA
