About the role of Software engineer for RUN team:
Performs E2E implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for an agile development of software solutions in a diverse context with regard to business domains, technological environments and cooperation models
Responsibilities:
- Realize various and multiple software engineering activities with regards to business requirements, functional design, technical design, development, application integration, package configuration, testing, deployment and other software related development activities
- Maintain, monitor and manage systems and applications with extra attention for performance, quality and security
- Document and build permanently personal knowledge of software solutions and methodologies/frameworks for software design and development via longlife learning
- Contribute actively to the learning organization via communities of practice, metoring, sharing sessions
- Follow market evolutions within the assigned applications, solutions and software frameworks (including their interfaces) and advice in function of new developments
Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge of PYTHON and JAVA
- High Technology Software Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace
- Software Quality Assurance and Testing: Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing; ability to apply appropriate processes, tools, and techniques for assuring a high level of quality in computer software products and systems
- Information Technology Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery
- Application Security: Knowledge of the tools and processes for maintaining application security
- Systems Software Infrastructure: Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build a fundamental architecture of operating systems, database management systems, communications protocols, compilers and other development tools
