We’re looking for a capable junior or medior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with KBC IT and business stakeholders, supporting senior analysts in preparing financial and business-related materials. Your insights will contribute to informed decision-making and help shape business capabilities aligned with KBC’s Business and IT strategy.

What to expect:  

• Evaluating historical and current financial data (Cash flow, OPEX) to understand the company financial condition with focus on project portfolio of KBC.   
• Writing data-backed reports to support the management team in taking strategic business decisions 
• Developing financial forecast  
• Preparing documentation for tactical and strategical businesses and IT steering committees being a right hand of Senior colleagues.  
• Track current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation 
• Proposing and improving already existing processes. 

You will: 

• be part of an international team situated in CSOB building in PRAGUE 
• be working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) context  
• work in a dynamic cross-functional team spanning both Business and IT

Your skills and experience:

Must have:

• Experienced Excel user  (Pivot queries)
• Analytical skills, stress resistance, flexibility and ability to work independently
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; B2 
• You will work in close collaboration with other teams within the Rainbow program - therefore a constructive, forward-looking, team spirit attitude is necessary; 

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of corporate/Banking finance, information analysis and financial diagnosis 
• Proven basic experience in project management tools - JIRA 
• Previous experience with BI technologies (Power BI, Qlik Sense) – user level 
• Czech/Slovak language knowledge and previous experience within IT and banking area would be a benefit
