Functional Analyst - Liquidity, ALM & RiskPro ALM applications

If yes, then join us at KBC as functional analyst! In the Prague´s office, we are collaboratively contributing to the development of a Multi-Tenant Warehouse, a project called Rainbow, which serves as a system for regulatory reporting of the whole KBC Group and its entities in 5 EU countries.

 

What to expect:

  • Take the lead in coordinating & documenting the end-to-end data inflow to the report
  • Functional analyst on Liquidity, ALM & RiskPro ALM application design
  • Document your analysis and check the result with your internal client and then discuss with the technical colleagues of your team.
  • You set up functional test cases based on the analysis and perform these to guarantee a qualitative delivery.
  • Challenger role during business & strategic discussions towards both Treasury & Risk
  • Understand the business cases, changes, scenarios at a high level across various domains like Credits, Markets, Risk, Finance etc.
  • Take up the functional elaboration of solutions. You are an important key figure between business and IT. You are responsible for the functional analysis of information systems so that they meet the business needs within the existing architecture and standards.
  • Challenge the requirements made by business and take them further towards the functional analysis phase.  Product knowledge is a plus or can be build up.
  • Testing & debugging of FAT, QAT and UAT test results
  • Ability to guide business through UAT results and provide proper explanation
  • RiskPro configuration + sounding
  • Assignments are dealt with through the agile process (Scrum, KanBan) in SAFe. In short iterations (sprints) software is delivered giving us an improved time to market. We develop, evaluate and steer where necessary during these short cycles. Each time in consultation with our business.

Your skills & experience:

 

  • For a Senior Profile we request 5+ years of relevant experience in several business & IT project related to Liq/ALM
  • Deep knowledge of financial instrument & Markets
  • In-dept understanding of Treasury & Risk function within a Financial institution. Preferably having worked at a FI.
  • Experience & knowledge in following areas: Asset & Liability management, Behavioral modelling, Dynamic Simulations, Funds Transfer Pricing, Hedge Accounting, Solvency II
  • Have a knack for solving problems and an analytical mind to think of outside the box and deliver cost saving solutions
  • Prior experience on the RiskPro tool in the areas of ALM, Liquidity, FTP is a plus
  • Good understanding of RiskPro data model & SQL syntax is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Result oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Is familiar to the SAFE agile way of working
  • It is important that you can act in the IT landscape after a short acquaintance period. You have the interest and the analytical skills to quickly familiarize yourself with the IT, Data and report process
  • A flexible mindset and eagerness for continuous learning are essential.
  • You have a healthy dose of pragmatism and creativity.
  • Working in a team where cooperation and team results are put first, strongly appeals to you
  • Experience in a financial or data management environment is a plus.
  • As a functional analyst you constantly interact with your colleagues.
  • You can communicate your ideas in a smooth, structured and convincing way. You are fluent in English and have excellent verbal and writing skills.
