IT Functional Analyst in Credit Risk

We are looking for an enthusiastic functional analyst to strengthen the GFDRL team on the KBC Agile Release Train ART Credit Risk in the DQM department.

Working at Data Quality Management (DQM) will put you at the heart of KBC's data-driven strategy. The importance of data quality has been increasing enormously in recent years and data management has become one of the most exciting domains in the financial industry. 
At DQM, you will help to ensure that KBC delivers qualitative data used in calculation engines and reports to national and international regulators.
Working at DQM gives you the opportunity to work in an international environment, with all entities of the KBC group for which DQM delivers Finance, Risk and Treasury reporting.
You will be part of  DQM’s data team GFDRL - Group Function Data Reporting Layer- responsible for the KBC group's central data warehouse;  We receive hundreds of data streams from all group entities, perform data quality checks, do many enrichments and deliver data towards target systems for many calculations and ultimately delivery for regulatory and management reporting.

Your future responsibilities:

• You collaborate with different IT, business and group entities to support their needs regarding reporting. You convert business requirements into functional and technical requirements and help realizing and testing the implementation in all its aspects. You are jointly responsible for the proper functioning and maintenance of the data warehouse. 

Your key strengths:

• You have experience as an analyst or senior software engineer and eager to learn to work as cross over profile, that requires both functional and technical skills.
• You learn fast, take responsibility and work with deadlines. 
• You have an analytical mind that enables you to gain insight in data processes
• You are a team player who likes to work and coordinate in an international context. You have good communication skills, you can work in English, both written and spoken. 
• You strive for high quality of the work you deliver
• Good practical experience in SQL, excel, test automation and/or SAS
