As a Senior Functional ICT Analyst within our team, you will play a role in ensuring the stability, optimization, and innovation of our reporting applications. You will act as a bridge between our service owners and technical designers, preparing solutions that enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. Your analytical and technical expertise will ensure in maintaining the robust infrastructure that supports our running applications. Expertise in iSeries environments, financial industry knowledge, and the ability to design and implement tailored ICT solutions, will help your day-to-day work .
Your responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders from various departments to understand their business processes and translate these into technical specifications.
- Design and document enhancements that optimize iSeries applications, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Provide functional and technical guidance on the integration of new services into existing systems.
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and enhancement of iSeries-based applications to ensure alignment with existing infrastructure.
- Discuss functional testing, ensuring a flawless deploy.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in ICT, with experience in an iSeries (AS/400) environment.
- functional analysis experience in financial applications .
- knowledge of RPG, CL, SQL, and DB2 within the iSeries framework.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with SAFe or other modern agile software development methodologies
