Functional Analyst in Group Reporting Services (Prague or Brno)

You will be part of an international team contributing to the development of Rainbow, a multi‑tenant data warehouse that supports regulatory reporting for the entire KBC Group and its entities across five EU countries.

 

What you will do:

  • Investigate, analyse, and translate business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business, IT, and reporting teams
  • Participate in report delivery, stress‑test environment setup, and reconciliation activities in line with regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to solution delivery, including defining and executing quality checks
  • Document delivered solutions and ensure a smooth handover to relevant teams
  • Prepare and assess proposals for changes within your functional area

 

Your skills and experience:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in an analyst role within a relevant business or data environment, preferably in banking area
  • Practical SQL knowledge and experience working with large datasets
  • A solid understanding of and experience in at least one of the following areas - Finance/Credit Risk/Treasury, including accounting fundamentals, banking operations, and financial products
  • Knowledge of some of the regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g. FinRep, CoRep, Liquidity reporting, EBA Stress Testing framework,..)
  • General knowledge of information systems and data warehousing concepts
  • Prior experience with regulatory reporting within EU-regulated banking environment is a significant advantage
