Senior Functional Analyst in Credit Risk

Then join us at KBC as functional analyst! In the Prague´s office, we are collaboratively contributing to the development of a Multi-Tenant Warehouse, a project called Rainbow, which serves as a system for regulatory reporting of the whole KBC Group and its entities in 5 EU countries.

 

Your Hard Skills

  • Banking functional knowledge: knowledge of the banking products, but also main amounts and related financial or accounting concepts (e.g.: ability to understand differences between principal amount, market value, Gross carrying amount,…)
  • Experience with at least one regulatory reporting stream: COREP, LCR, NSFR, FRTB, IRRBB
  • Credit risk knowledge: Basel III Internal models and SA, Basel IV, CRR/CRD, SACCR, IFRS9
  • Solid Knowledge of LGDs, EADs and PDs modelling, RWA calculations
  • Have functional expertise in implementing new data requirements into in-house or external providers tools. Steer implementation, create test cases, perform UAT and bug fixing
  • Practical knowledge of SQL so that he/she is able to query data, join tables, identify and analyze data in complex data models

 

Your Soft skills

  • You are able to handle multiple topics concurrently; often within a day 3 or 4 different items are to be worked on
  • You are strong communicator, and he/she has the capacity to convince in a structured way (both written and oral) with well-founded arguments
  • You have strong analytical skills, he/she assimilates data quickly, gain insight and see the essence
  • You are the contact person for other risk functions (audit, group and local compliance, ...) and can translate their message to our business language and Rainbow ecosystem
  • You are a team player across different departments
  • Continuous learning is key in this dynamic changing field

 

Nice to have

  • Working experience with Agile methodologies ( SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe..)
  • Knowledge of a Moddy’s Analytics solutions, WKFS tools
  • Knowledge of other programming languages: SAS, Matlab, R, Phyton
  • Knowledge of BCBS 239 principles
