Group Risk – CZ Hub team is dedicated to fully work on the OpR agenda (KBC Group Centre of Competence Operational Risk). Persons in this team will be covering the activities for G-OpR in following
areas:
• Business support for the groupwide OpR tools incl. access rights approvals/reviews.
• Creation/testing/implementation of the business requirements for OpR tools configuration changes, content updates & data uploads etc. all this in close cooperation with G-OPR and dedicated IT staff
• Training 2LOD and LORMs with respect to how the operational risk management framework and building blocks need to be executed, resulting in qualitative registrations in groupwide tools.
• Support for local control monitoring assignments (upon local requests, and depending on the planning as agreed with the G-OpR and G-IRM team leads).
• Leading role for group overlay control monitoring assignments / consistency & data quality checks in OpR tools.
• Reporting tasks on losses and near misses.

Your skills & experience:
• strengthens the operational risk management process in risk by enthusiastically contributing to supporting the group with group wide tooling, and providing data driven analyses for all KBC entities e.g. analyses on
losses, near misses and all reporting that goes with it;
• in cooperation with the business and the local risk team assesses the effectiveness of our risk management approach in KBC processes (incl. on-site control assignments not only in CZ, but also across all KBC countries) or tooling and where needed proposes appropriate,effective and simple extensions or improvements;
• uses creativity in in-depth studies, detecting risk signals and supporting in local or group wide risk assessments in the operational risk management domain;
• analyse insights from and establishes links with other domains, risk types and external trends/evolutions (connecting the dots);
• provides advice to the business, putting him-/herself in the shoes of the receiver to achieve maximum impact;
• is a team member of Group Risk – CZ Hub located in Prague closely cooperating with the Group OpR team spread over all KBC countries;
• uses communication skills to explain complex risk events and topics understandably and to the point towards a varied audience, including top management and KBC’s supervisors;
• provides training in the Group risk hub scope areas (e.g. group-wide tooling, reporting, data quality, losses and near misses etc.)
• sharpens strategic insights by being involved in key projects and discussions
• participates in group and local meetings and committees based on the agenda and scope in the G-OPR team incl. participation in meetings abroad.
