During the past few years, a lot of new regulation has been elaborated at European level that require Banks and Insurance companies to further strengthen their operational resilience (e.g. as part of the Recovery and Resolution planning requirements, implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act, etc…).   We are looking for a colleague who will join us in setting up KBC's processes and systems in such way that we can cope with extreme crisis situations and still can assure the continuity of our key services to our customers (= operational continuity).

Your role would be to: 

• Use your creativity for detection and in-depth analysis of the new regulatory operational continuity requirements, translating them into proposals how to deal with them and presenting your suggestions to the business and group-risk management community; 
• Work out the clear requirements for the implementation in various internal frameworks, processes and tools  
• Provide supporting and training materials to the business and risk community; 
• Support the reporting linked to operational continuity (e.g for resolution) to the KBC group management and regulators.
