Your key technical strengths?
As a Software Engineer we expect:
•You have experience in domains that use databases and SQL
•You have experience to explore the file-system on a Unix-server
•You have knowledge on Audit logging of Applications
•You have knowledge on Data Warehousing and Data warehousing concepts.
•You are aware of data warehouse security, like access management, data classification, security monitoring, data minimization and retention.
•You have experience with installing/configuring software packages (together with other interfacing teams) or you are willing to learn
•Knowledge of Teradata and Jenkins would be a plus, but are no blocking factors
•You can translate functional requirements into technical designs and implementations together with the other technical colleagues
•You always have a Broader view on the topics you work on
•You are self-driven, dynamic and professional
•You have a high dose of pragmatism and creativity
Where is this function positioned?
Our project called Rainbow has more than 35 teams which focus on building a completely new data warehouse for regulatory reporting of the whole KBC Group and its entities in 5 EU countries.
Within the big Rainbow program, we are the Security & Privacy team. We are responsible to implement / enable the Various Security measures in the Rainbow ecosystem. We take care of the Proper Data Classification of the attributes which are in our data warehouse, Access Management for the entire rainbow workforce, Build / Maintain the Data Anonymization framework, Monitoring of the user actions to avoid data/code tampering, Coordinating with the various stakeholders to maintain the Data Minimization & Retention periods, Risk Management, - considering internal and external regulations (such as GDPR, DORA, … ).
We work in a SAFe (Scaled Agile) mode. In short iterations (sprints) new developments are delivered, giving us an improved time to market. We develop, evaluate and steer where necessary during these short cycles.
You will be part of a well-integrated IT team in an international context.
Your role in the team will be to work along the technical colleagues to enable various security measures that are part of our roadmap.
