Job Description:
With our team we are responsible for the Embargo screening application. This application is screening payments and customer data on embargo rules.
We are delivering this service for the different entities within the KBC Group.
The past years, embargo screening has become a very important component in the processing of payments & customer data which results in interesting new projects. To deliver all these projects we are looking for new colleagues to join our team.
What are we doing?
The embargo screening itself is covered by an external package. We deploy and configure the package ourselves. From setting up new embargo rules, adding new lists to be screened, setting up new connections till upgrading the package to higher versions.
Besides the external package itself, we develop own scripts for monitoring our application and for test automation.
On daily basis we work closely together with our business party in translating new requirements towards implementation in our application.
We work together with different Infrastructural supporting teams to guarantee our applications are up and running.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a software Engineer who has 3-5 years of experience.
Knowledge of development on Open Systems or package deployment is an advantage.
It is a plus when you have knowledge of Linux/Unix, Database Systems - Oracle/PostgreSQL, Java, MQ-series, Jboss/Websphere. Web interfaces (Rest/Soap), Kafka.
