We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join the GenAI & Power Solutions team at KBC. This team plays a foundational role in enabling the development of conversational AI solutions and Power Platform applications across the organization.

As a Solution Architect, you’re responsible for shaping the way we develop our conversational AI solutions. You will design and standardize the development flows, infrastructure patterns, and security-compliant architectures that allow our teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure our platforms are robust, future-proof, and easy to use.

The GenAI & Power Solutions team focuses on building employee-facing conversational bots using Copilot Studio and the Azure AI Foundry platform, often powered by RAGs (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) developed by our ADAM data science team. We also govern and support the Power Platform for End User Developed Applications (EUDA) and team productivity. 

The team is divided into three sub-teams: 

• SOFA (Software Factory): Designs the tools, patterns, pipelines, and infrastructure that enable conversational bot development.
• CPS (Copilot Studio): Builds conversational bots for business use cases, combining low-code and high-code approaches.
• Power Platform: Acts as the centre of excellence for Power Platform governance, enablement, and maturity within KBC. 

You will be part of the SOFA team, where your architectural expertise will directly influence how our developers work and how our solutions are delivered. 

What we expect from you: 

• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and standardized architectural designs.
• Define and maintain architectural patterns, infrastructure templates, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as the ADAM, the Public Cloud team, the .NET team, and others to align on architecture, security, and integration.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure smooth implementation of business cases.
• Contribute to the design of the developer experience: tooling, workspace setup, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security and enterprise architecture standards.
• Act as a consultant and coach to other teams within the GenAI & Power Solutions team. 

You will work in an agile, collaborative environment with colleagues in Belgium, Czechia, Bulgaria and Hungary. Hybrid working is supported in line with KBC’s policies.
