About our RPA System Team
We are part of the Business Solution Competence Center (BSCC), driving automation and optimization across KBC Group. Our team ensures the reliability, deployment, and monitoring of RPA infrastructure and applications, supporting automation solutions built with UiPath, OCR, and IPA integrations. We work closely with Belgian headquarters and SSC teams to maintain system stability, enable smooth operations, and deliver high-impact support for business-critical processes.
Your Role
As a System Engineer, you will:
- Analyze and interpret infrastructure data to support automation workflows.
- You contribute to the security of our critical servers and systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot L2 support issues across RPA systems.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and clients to ensure smooth delivery of end-to-end processes.
- You are responsible for the application management of our various systems. This includes the following responsibilities and tasks: maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, monitoring, ...
- You manage the security related log flows on Log collection of network and file based log sources in collaboration with the ELK team, both of applications and infrastructure components o Log collection of SQL databases, Managed File Transfers and (cloud) APIs o Setting up filtering and data transformation
- Prepare setup of new infrastructure together with the architects and get it approved by our organization
- Monitoring the market, e.g. deployment of alternative tools
- Getting involved in our future permanent team arrangement
- Participate in PI planning and Agile ceremonies to align on priorities and scope.
What you bring
- At least 1 year experience in system engineering and infrastructure support.
- Network knowledge (firewalls, proxies, dns, ...)
- Good knowledge of Linux, Windows
- If you already have experience in 1 or more of these technical areas, that is definitely a plus: Active Directory, Big data systems, Log shipping tools (logstash, fluentd and vector), Container technologies such as docker, podman, openshift and kubernetes, Security
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Natural tendency to be thorough, meticulous and well-documented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Fluent English for daily communication with international colleagues.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus
