Why we partnered with ENGETO?

There is still a shortage of IT professionals in the Czech Republic. Universities with a focus on IT produce less than four thousand graduates a year in the Czech Republic, which is far from meeting demand. That is why KBC Global Services has a long term partnership with ENGETO, a company that retrains employees from other sectors through its IT courses (Python, Java, Testing, Data Analysis, Linux, etc.) "In the nine years we have been on the market, more than 16,000 students have been through our training courses. As there is still a high demand for IT positions on the market, most of our graduates find employment quite quickly, especially those who build on their existing knowledge and continue with ENGETO or through self-study," says Marian Hurta, CEO at ENGETO, adding: "We have been cooperating with KBC for several years. Several of our graduates work at KBC and thanks to the feedback we know that the satisfaction is mutual. Although KBC is now looking for more experienced staff, it also regularly has positions open for juniors. At the same time, not all of our graduates are new to IT, some have more than five years of experience, so the opportunity to work in senior positions is an achievable challenge for them."
