KBC Global Services: Who we are

We are a part of KBC Group but don't get us wrong – we are not a bank or insurance company. We are the engine behind KBC Group's business operations across Europe.

Our Story

The first shared service center of KBC Global Services was founded in Brno, Czech Republic, in 2011 with a handful of people. A few years later, the team counted more than 1000 people and the office space has spread to more than 8 000 sqm.

Following the successful example of Brno, the Bulgarian branch of our company was established in 2019 as a Shared Service Center to provide back-office support to the bank and insurance entities within KBC Group in Daily banking, Credits & Finance, AML, Due diligence, Insurance, Payments, Securities Services and other business domains. Our teams in Bulgaria have been rapidly expanding ever since and offering various career opportunities, now under the name KBC Global Services.

    A New Chapter: KBC IT Hub

    After the success of the Shared Service Center, which became one of the leading employers, KBC Global Services took the strategic decision to open up an IT Hub in Varna at the beginning of 2021. Since then, we have been supporting the digital transformation of KBC Group, providing software development, AI, QA and other IT solutions and working on a wide range of projects combining classical IT with digital banking.
