Statistics and analytics cookies

On this website, the web analytics tool Matomo Analytics is used to get an overall picture of how visitors use the site. It uses cookies to collect information in an anonymous form (aggregated and privacy-safe) about how visitors use the website, for example, the number of page views, how visitors have arrived at the website, and the number of visits. The purpose is to help us improve the usability of the website. The information generated through your website usage is redirected to and processed by InnoCraft Ltd, New Zealand.

With the JavaScript tracking code of Matomo Analytics we are able to track the following information about you:

  • User IP address (via IP anonymization)
  • User ID
  • Date and time of the website visit
  • Title of the page being viewed (Page Title)
  • URL of the page being viewed (Page URL)
  • URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page (Referrer URL)
  • Screen resolution being used
  • Time in local user’s time zone
  • Files that were clicked and downloaded (Download)
  • Links to an outside domain that were clicked (Outlink)
  • Pages generation time (the time it takes for webpages to be generated by the webserver and then downloaded by the user: Page speed)
  • Location of the user: country, region, city, approximate latitude and longitude (Geolocation)
  • Main Language of the browser being used (Accept-Language header)
  • User Agent of the browser being used (User-Agent header)

From the User-Agent, we use our Universal Device Detection library to detect the browser, operating system, device used (desktop, tablet, mobile, tv, cars, console, etc.), brand and model. Some information is also stored in first party cookies and then collected by the web analytics tools:

  • Random unique Visitor ID
  • Time of the first visit for a user
  • Time of the previous visit for a user
  • Number of visits for a user

This site uses IP Anonymization by default. The IP anonymization feature in Matomo Analytics sets the last 2 octets of IPv4 user IP addresses to zeros. The full IP address is never written to disk in this case.

3. What about your privacy?

In any cooperation with third parties (e.g., Google, LinkedIn, Meta), KBC Global Services has entered into clear agreements (including in an electronically signed form) with these third parties to safeguard your privacy. When we collect personal data through cookies, we always do so in accordance with our Data Protection Statement, which we recommend reading.
It's also important to stay aware of the privacy policies and data usage practices of the third-party websites and services that are being used. Any consent to accept or to decline cookies is limited to the website to which this Cookie policy applies to and not to other websites or pages which may be hyperlinked to Our website. For more information, please refer to the Privacy or Cookie policy of these third-party’s websites.
