KBC and TU Varna sign a sponsorship contract for creating KBC Collab

Monday, December 13, 2021 - KBC Varna and the Technical University - Varna have signed a contract for sponsorship which facilitates the creation of 'KBC Collab' on the university territory – an innovative student space created by the company and technologically equipped with all the necessary facilities for exchanging experience, building IT skills аnd gaining practical knowledge.

The official event was attended by Todor Petkov, General Manager of KBC Shared Service and Digital Development Center, and the Rector of TU - Varna, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ventsislav Vulchev, as well as other representatives of both organizations.

The purpose of KBC Collab is to support and enrich the educational process in the Technical University - Varna and to encourage the students in terms of their interests focused on the new technologies. Last but not least, KBC Collab aims to motivate and be the go-to place for exchanging innovative ideas in the IT field, knowledge and expertise – both internally between the students, and externally thanks to trainings and inspiration events with external experts and leaders in the IT field.

KBC Collab will host a lot of interesting events,  such as workshops, trainings with international lectors, smaller-scaled conferences and presentations of final diploma projects.

The project realization is planned to kick-off in January 2022, while the official opening of 'KBC Collab' is expected to take place within the first half of 2022.
