Application Manager (Customer Handling)

The Team 

 

Banking systems are specific and technically varied. Application Managers are responsible for testing of system changes and have close cooperation with ICT department so the process flow are aligned. They are ensuring the proper functioning of the applications, providing support to operations and implementing new features in various projects.  This requires technical and analytical capabilities. As a member of the team you will be responsible for: 

 

  • Daily monitoring of the proper functioning of the internal bank application/s; 
  • Analyzing and writing requirements for changes which have to happen in the applications;
  • Creating and performing tests for the changes, providing support and user training (documentation and training creation);
  • Responsible for incident handling and resolution, coordination of follow-up actions;
  • Acts as a link between business and the ICT developers;

 

What we look for:

 

  • Relevant background or Proven experience within a similar role; 
  • Knowledge and experience in the payments industry/ trade finance services/ Corporate banking would be considered as an advantage;
  • Knowledge in bank business processes and bank applications;
  • We welcome interest in IT and modern technologies;
  •  Strong analytical thinking  for delivering business solutions;
  • Fluent English is essential for us, communication with Belgium and foreign colleagues awaits you;
  • Experience of working within Agile methodology is a plus.
