Application Manager (GFDRL)

Working at Group Reporting Services (GRS) will put you at the heart of KBC's data-driven strategy.
You will be part of GRS’s data team GFDRL - Group Function Data Reporting Layer- responsible for the KBC group's central data warehouse; We receive hundreds of data streams from all group entities, perform data quality checks, do many enrichments and deliver data towards target systems for many calculations and ultimately delivery for regulatory and management reporting.
Responsibilities
• As an application manager you are the bridge between the various (business) users and IT technical experts. Collaboration and interactivity are key
• You manage the data of the data ware house (correctness, transactions and calculations) and the data flows/interactions from sources/towards targets
• As you are responsible for the stability and quality of the data ware house application, you will closely be involved with the incident and problem management (ETE view, support in rootcause- & impact analysis, in finding solution with all concerned parties, supervise implementation, E2E-follow up until incident solved)
• You’ll be involved in the change management for supporting the analysts to understand the detailed BUS specifications and translation towards the functional requirements for our system and make arrangements with interacting applications
• You are accountable for test management for incidents, changes and releases (test preparation, -execution, -acceptance)
• You are first line support towards the users, sources and targets of the data ware house and will follow-up the group-mail box
You communicate to users and give feedback to management (in case of big issues, on KPI’s, …)
• You are involved in risk management : authorization management on the application, data recovery test, business continuity plan
• You proactively work on improvements
