Who are we:

KBC Global Services is the engine behind KBC Group – a leading bank-insurance group with over 41,000 talented employees serving more than 12 million clients across Europe. The Bulgarian branch of our company was established in 2019 to provide back-office support to the bank and insurance entities within KBC Group in Anti-Money Laundering, Insurance, Daily Banking, Accounts controlling, Business Solutions Competence Centre, Credits and Financing and other business domains. Since 2021, we have been supporting the digital transformation of KBC Group providing software development, QA, AI and other IT solutions working on a wide range of projects combining classical IT with digital banking.

Our agile release train SoLAR is part of the ICT division of IGF (Group Functions and Insurance). Our train serves the business units of GRS: Group risk, Group treasury and Group finance for both KBC Group and local entities. We manage risks and produce both external- and internal reporting. Several teams collaborate closely on the applications for Liquidity, ALM and Solvency Risk to ensure reporting is consistent and in line with the regulations. The teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) work in BIIO, so IT and Bus colleagues closely together. 

Job Description:

As our Application Manager, you would have the following responsibilities:

• You will be an important bridge between the different users of the Riskpro application and the IT colleagues;
• End to end follow up, from the data load until the run is done;
• Incident management by using the Service now application;
• Proactively working on process improvements;
• Provide necessary support during peak moments (monthly and quarterly runs);
• Follow up on change requests: discussing business requirements, testing, communication;
• Creating and maintaining documentation;
• Be responsible for the access rights and team bundles.

• You are familiar with the  SAFE agile way of working;
• You can work accurately and can deal with deadlines;
• You is well motivated, someone who can work independently, you are comfortable with taking initiative and taking responsibility;
• You continuously interact with colleagues and you are able to communicate your ideas in a fluent, structured and convincing way;
• You are open to continuously learn and acquire new skills;
• Excellent English;
• Knowledge of SQL.
