The Team:
At GRS (Group Reporting Services) we are at the heart of KBC’s data-driven strategy, ensuring top quality report delivery to national and international regulators.
You will be part of GRM’s Data Quality Team, which monitors KBC group's central data warehouse where we receive data from various group entities for the purpose of internal and external company reporting. Your function will support the creation of our Report Quality Dashboards, taking into consideration all of our stakeholders.
 

Job Description:

As our Data Analyst you will: 

• Oversee (the scope and coverage of) installed data quality checks on incoming and outgoing Group Function Data Layer (GFDL) data, including reconciling transactional data with accounting and reconcile Risk and Financial reporting.
• Driven by business requirements, test, impose and follow-up data quality checks at the level of the data senders in cooperation with our Data Quality Analysts.
• Follow up data quality incidents and ensure swift and efficient communication between data senders, GFDL operators and targets.
• Play your part in root cause analysis on data quality incidents and agree on solutions and follow-up actions and action plans.
• Organize and coordinate meetings with different stakeholders to discuss data quality topics, agree on actions and follow-up of action-plans.
• Report to the scrum master on data quality issues and take the lead in improving monitoring of issues.
• Support the creation and presentation of the Report Quality Dashboard.
• Work in an international environment, mainly through Teams and other collaboration tools.

• Knowledge of Service Now, SQL, Powerquery and similar tools are a plus, but not mandatory.
