This vacancy is situated the Agile Release Train ‘Credit Risk’ - the domain of client and credit risk calculations. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of systems used in the credit and regulatory reporting processes, working closely together with colleagues of modelling and finance. You will work in a SAFE context with a mixed business ICT team in which the focus lies on end-to-end tasks.

Job description:
As our Functional Analyst, you would have the following responsibilities:
- Take the lead in coordinating several changes end-to-end;
- Responsible for converting the business requirements into a functional design in which alternatives (cost/benefit/impact) are worked out;
- Act as a key link between business and IT, performing functional analysis to ensure systems meet business needs within established architecture and standards;
- Challenge business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications;
- Document analyses, validate results with stakeholders, and create functional test cases to ensure high-quality delivery;
- Collaborate within an international Business & IT team, maintaining strong relationships with partners while constructively managing time, scope, and budget constraints;
- Work in a SAFe environment, delivering software in short sprints to improve time-to-market, and continuously evaluate and adjust in consultation with the business.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while taking initiative and responsibility;
- Has good communication skills to translate business or functional topics to technical colleagues and technical topics to business users;
- Understands the business cases, changes, scenarios at a high level;
- Solving problems and an analytical mind to think of outside the box and deliver cost saving solutions;
- Understanding of data, data models, and data analysis;
- Working knowledge of data warehouse models and data analysis;
- Can work in project as well as business as usual mode;
- Quick to adapt to the IT landscape, with strong analytical skills and the ability to combine functional and technical tasks;
- Fluent in English with outstanding verbal and written communication;
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or similar.
A significant advantage would be to have:
- Business credit risk knowledge is a plus.
