As Information Security Officer, you insure that customers can use our services securely. As our Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for cyber- and information security of a multi-disciplinary shared service center working remotely for the whole KBC Group. Together with a team of fellow Information Security Officers, you are responsible for the following tasks:
• Provide expert information security advice and guidance towards the organization regarding projects, initiatives and questions
• Steer the risk management process, by performing risk assessments within the risk appetite, advise on risk treatment, challenge and validate the actions plans, setting closing criteria and follow up on due dates
• Ensure that information security controls and processes are implemented and managed consistently throughout the entity
• Communicate the information security strategy, and translate it towards the organization, support and challenge the implementation
Key competences that will help you succeed:
• You have a bachelor or master degree related to IT or equivalent experience.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in cyber security (full scope) or alternately 5 years of experience withing a Risk function of which 2 years as a risk manager inside KBC
• You have a CISSP, CISM or comparable IT security certificate, or are willing to obtain a CISSP certificate.
• You know how to translate technical cyber and security topics into added value for our business
• You constantly brush up on your knowledge and keep a close eye on new threats.
• You have a proactive approach.
• You have a fresh and at the same time critical view.
• You take ownership to insure that risks are handled efficiently
• Experience with communication to senior management
• You speak and write English fluently.
