As a Junior Procurement Officer, you’ll be part of an exciting new initiative focused on managing lower-value procurement files—key elements that help keep our operations running smoothly while ensuring we meet important compliance standards.

You’ll work closely with suppliers, review contracts, and make decisions that contribute to the smooth functioning of our procurement operations. 

This role is a fantastic entry point into the procurement profession, offering hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow into more complex responsibilities over time.

As our Junior Procurement officer, you would have the following responsibilities:

• Handling procurement files that fall under the “tail spend” category
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance from legal and risk perspectives
• Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Reading and interpreting contracts
• Contributing to the development of a new procurement process
• Adapting to evolving procedures and helping shape best practices.
  
  

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• Strong interest in procurement – experience is a plus, but not required
• Analytical mindset – you enjoy solving problems and working with data
• Attention to detail – accuracy is key in this role
• Adaptability – you’re comfortable with change and can work with evolving processes
