The Bulgarian branch of our company was established in 2019 to provide back-office support to the bank and insurance entities within KBC Group in Anti-Money Laundering, Insurance, Daily Banking, Accounts controlling, Business Solutions Competence Centre, Credits and Financing and other business domains.

This year KBC Future Talents Internship Program of KBC Global Services will be held in our office in Varna between 16 June and 30 August 2025 and has the following internship positions, that you can choose from:

 

The AML Customer Lifecycle Intern will be responsible for: 

  • Monitoring customer activities and transactions considered suspicious
  • Staying current with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviors, issues, policies, regulations, criminal convictions
  • Identifying and understanding the Anti money laundering( AML ) threats in the financial sector and set effective procedures and guidance in place, in order to mitigate potential risks
  • Completing of anti -money laundering (AML) and fraud checks
  • Registering new customers in our data base by processing their personal data
  • Evaluating if the candidate is eligible to become a customer and ultimately create the profile
  • Reviewing and signing-off of Customer AML Documentation

The Insurance Team Intern will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting the Insurance back office processes for our local and international colleagues in KBC Global Services
  • Creating and allocating claim files.
  • Processing documents through typing, splitting, and other administrative tasks.
  • Making payments to third parties.
  • Administering claim files and ensuring accurate records.
  • Managing correspondence.
  • Handling termination and cancellation of insurance contracts.

 

The Financial Lease Intern will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and registering order forms for new leasing assets
  • Registering and paying out invoices related with the leasing lines
  • Transferring contracts and assets from one party to another
  • Early termination of contracts
  • Following up with daily customers requests and issuing duplicates of original documents
  • Managing and operating with a dedicated banking software
  • Daily communication with our colleagues in Bulgaria and Belgium

 

The Procurement Back Office Intern will be responsible for: 

  • Creation of purchase orders for materials for KBC bank, KBC  Group,  KBC  Insurance.
  • Maintaining contracting database in the ERP  system
  • Dealing and managing invoices
  • Creation of new items in the system
  • Resolving any errors which may occur
  • Collaboration with internal and external clients as well as with other colleagues within KBC

 

The Autolease Intern will be responsible for:

  • Processing quotation requests of cars and bikes in a fast and flawless way
  • Converting quotation into a high-quality lease contract that guarantees a smooth process flow
  • Ordering cars and bicycles at the dealer
  • Registering cars and bicycles
  • Starting up car and bicycle contracts

 

Key competences that will help you succeed:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor degree study (3rd or 4th year) or Master degree study
  • Good command of English (minimum B1)
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn, mainly by practical exercises /readiness for learning from the practice/
  • Proactive approach, ability to ask questions and go beyond what’s expected, critical thinking
  • Good communication and teamwork skills and the ability to take ownership of your work 
  • Desire for starting a professional career in large international company
  • Friendly team player, willing to join a growing company
