Marketing data analyst (Martech)

As our Marketing data analyst, you would have the following responsibilities:
- You will provide 2nd and 3rd line support for our Martech tools, fixing issues and solving problems when they come up;
- You will work closely with different teams like marketing, IT, and business to ensure tracking is implemented correctly, and that the data collected is reliable;
- Research technically and implement new features for tracking and data collection to improve our digital tools;
- As the data gatekeeper, you make sure the data we track is accurate, consistent, and of good quality. You identify and debug issues when something is off;
- You’ll help internal stakeholders understand the data, provide advice on best practices, and support them in becoming more data-savvy;
- You assist internal teams in making the right decisions by translating technical data into clear and actionable insights for business;
- Set up best practices for the Martech tools based on the needs of the business and the technical possibilities;
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in GDPR, cookies, and tracking regulations, to make sure we comply with privacy standards;
- You’ll work closely together with the Product Owner and Application Manager of Martech-tooling.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- You are familiar with or have a strong interest in Martech tools like tag management systems (Adobe Launch), web analytics (Adobe Analytics), and user behavior platforms (Contentsquare)
- basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and you’re able to do browser debugging when tracking issues pop up;
- You have an understanding of GDPR, cookie consent policies, and how cookies work in general.
A significant advantage would be to have:
- Knowledge of our KBC’s data ecosystem is a plus, or at least you are willing to learn it quickly;
- Knowledge of advertising technologies (like Meta and Google Ads) is a plus;
- Knowledge about API integrations.

- Fluent in English, and able to document and explain things in a straightforward way;
- You have strong analytical skills and are good at problem-solving, especially when it comes to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- You are proactive and solution-oriented, can set your own priorities, and enjoy working independently;
- You like working with people and can communicate complex technical matters in a clear way, even to people who are not so technical.
