Procurement Specialist

The Bulgarian branch of our company was established in 2019 to provide back-office support to the bank and insurance entities within KBC Group in Anti-Money Laundering, Insurance, Daily Banking, Accounts controlling, Business Solutions Competence Centre, Credits and Financing and other business domains.
Job Description:
As our Procurement Specialist, you would have the following responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing requirements and provide guidance.
- Decision Support: Challenge and advise internal clients to ensure efficient sourcing aligned with KBC policies.
- Sourcing Events: Prepare and execute sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, Auctions), including evaluation methodologies and financial comparisons.
- Cost Analysis: Calculate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for complex projects.
- Purchasing Decisions: Make purchasing decisions within a specified range.
- Negotiations: Lead negotiations and act as the primary contact for Belgium and global suppliers.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analyses and forecasts, proposing optimizations and cost reductions.
- Contract Management: Prepare and coordinate contract signatures using available templates.
- Compliance: Adhere to all procurement rules and procedures in line with KBC group standards.
- Cross-Unit Communication: Collaborate with various units within KBC Group (Legal, Compliance, Information Security, etc.) and external suppliers.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- Proven Experience in Procurement Front Office (at least 4 years), specifically in IT purchases (Software and/or Cyber Security).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong Negotiation skill.
- Excellent communication and solutions-oriented approach.
- Exceptional Analytical skills and Time management.
- High level of Self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies;
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP).
A significant advantage would be to have:
- Experience with S-Sourcing platforms (Ariba, Coupa, etc.).
- Project Management experience.
- Degree in Economics, Engineering or similar field;
