Presenting - GRS:

The importance of data quality has been increasing enormously in recent years and data management has become one of most exciting domains in the financial industry.
Working at GRS (Group Reporting Services) will put you at the heart of KBC's data-driven strategy, helping to ensure that KBC delivers top quality reports to national and international regulators.
You will get the opportunity to work in an international environment, with all entities of the KBC group (six banks, five insurers) for which we produce more than 4500 reports.
Last but far from least, you will work for a division that is continuously looking to innovate and improve.

We are looking for a colleague who wants to be part of this transformation and help shape it.

Job Description:

As our Reporting Analyst, you will:

  • Analyze large volumes of financial data and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of our reporting outputs.
  • Deliver clear and insightful reports to both internal stakeholders and external regulators, supporting senior management in their decision-making.
  • Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and value of our reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the KBC Group, as well as with external auditors and supervisory authorities.

Key competencies that will help you succeed:

  • A Master’s degree in (Applied) Economics, Commercial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • A strong interest in banking and insurance, financial markets, balance sheet management, risk management, or finance/accounting.
  • Affinity with reporting and disclosures — you’re comfortable analyzing figures, understanding the underlying drivers, and summarizing key messages clearly.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or financial analysis is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work independently in a structured and reliable way.
  • A proactive, dynamic mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a strong plus; familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, SAS) is an advantage.

Why join us?

  • Be part of a reputable financial institution with a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.
  • Gain exposure to both external regulatory and internal management reporting, building a well-rounded reporting skill set.
  • Work in a team that values continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development.
